Once we start a job, we finish it as quickly as we can on consecutive fair-weather days.

We aim to complete a typical roof in a single day, utilizing a large crew to ensure efficient work. Larger roofing jobs–ones requiring the removal of multiple layers of shingles, addition or replacement of skylights, replacement of plywood etc.–will be done over a number of days. If your roof will take more than one day you’ll know ahead of time. We always ensure that the job site is carefully secured and protected from precipitation and wind. And you can count on us to return the next day, barring inclement weather.

We have excellent relationships with the local distributors of our preferred shingle manufacturers. Iko and CRC shingles are manufactured in Canada and have been tested in the extremes of Canadian weather. Gaf Elk shingles have earned continent-wide recognition and won numerous awards for their good looks and excellent performance.

But a high quality roofing job goes beyond shingles. Roofs can be a complex landscape of valleys, dormers, chimneys, vents, and skylights. Roofs are vulnerable to water pooling and leakage whenever there is low or no slope, a change in angle, or something cuts into or protrudes from the roof. Even the edges of your roof are at risk of water damage from ice dams. Careful flashing of vulnerable areas, use of a waterproof ice and water membrane, plumber flanges, and a drip edge are standard practice on all D’Angelo & Sons roofing projects.
